Hotel revenue management for independent properties
Most independent hotels price by habit: last year's rate, a nervous discount, a copy of the hotel across the road. We take over the daily decisions on rate, inventory, restrictions and channel mix, and report back every month in numbers you can check against your own books.
What is included
- Daily rate and availability decisions across your room types and rate plans
- Competitor set tracking, so every price is set against what guests can actually book instead
- Demand forecasting by month, weekend, festival and local event
- Segment and channel mix review: OTA, direct, corporate, groups, travel agents
- Length-of-stay and minimum-stay rules for peak dates
- A monthly performance report covering occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, pick-up and channel cost
Who it is for
Owners and general managers of hotels, resorts and boutique stays that have no full-time revenue manager, or that have one and still miss their targets.
Markets
Available in all the destinations we cover.
Questions
What is hotel revenue management?
It is the practice of selling the right room to the right guest at the right time, at the right price, through the right channel. In daily work it means setting rates and restrictions from demand data, then checking the result against occupancy, ADR and RevPAR.
Do we need to change our channel manager or PMS?
Usually not. We work with the systems you already use. If your setup is holding you back, we say so in the first review and suggest what to change.
How do you charge?
We scope after a property review. Fees are either a monthly retainer or linked to the revenue improvement, depending on the property and what you prefer. Ask for a quote on the contact page.
